SPOTLIGHT ON: Adult Religious Education

Adult religious education at Christ the King Parish includes a variety of programs for the adult to assist in their spiritual and personal growth as a disciple of Christ.  Examples of these programs include, but are not limited to:  Bible study, grief prayer groups, Liturgy of the Hours classes, contemplative prayer, 15 Days of Prayer with a saint, Catholic book studies, theology “round table” discussions, etc.  Parish missions are provided once a year with an outside speaker presenting both day and evening sessions on various spiritual topics.

Other specific religious education programs for adults include Coming Home and the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).

If you are interested in becoming a program facilitator or have ideas for more program or classes, please contact Gretchen at the parish office (946-1675).
